Wish I can see him soon!!! Yippee, my dad just sent me his picture! Isn’t he adorable??

Showbiz chismis!

I was just reading Pen’s blog about how she hasn’t been updated in showbiz chismis, and I just have to post this. Yes, I do love me Pinoy showbiz chismis, I’ve been like that since I was a kid (Duh, See True, Eye to Eye, SineSilip, Showbiz Lingo, Cristy Per Minute, Startalk, S-Files, and of course, The Buuuuzzzz [with feelings!]).

But ever since I moved here to Singapore, I’ve had to be content with occasional tidbits from my sisters, or Dolly Ann’s catty column in the Inquirer website.

So can you imagine my glee when my sister told me about Yes Magazine’s new website, the Philippine Entertainment Portal? My God, it’s a veritable treasure chest of showbiz chika. So if you’re starved for Pinoy showbiz news, you know where to go!

And this is why this blog’s url is cappuccinochiller…

I really do have so many stories that I wish I could have told from the last few months, from hellishly busy days, to relaxing days where I get to chat with nice customers (some of whom I’ve been mistaken to be 10 years younger than I am! Naks! Hahaha), to pesky customers, to weird customers, to smelly delivery men (phew!) to my fascination with steaming milk for hot drinks.

Yes folks, I am definitely in the front line of customer service in a great coffee shop that my husband’s family franchised. I open the store and stay there till late at night, taking orders, preparing food, chillers, coffee, and more. And no, it’s not that coffee shop with the mermaid logo, nor is it the one with the purple straws, if you know what I mean!

I now know my cappuccinos from my lattes, shots and foam and all that jazz. So if you’re ever in Singapore and you want a good cuppa, look me up!

i’m back!

Oh.my.god.

I am finally back! Some of you might know that I have been out of commission not just because I’ve been busy at work but mostly because my laptop’s keyboard was spoiled. The letters q, w, r, u, o and backspace didn’t work so I couldn’t type anything decent. If I wanted to type in anything, I had to resort to copying and pasting those letters. Too annoying.

I’ve been dillydallying between buying a new laptop and not buying a new laptop. Pros: will get to do normal things with the laptop. Cons: Too expensive!!!

So me being silly me, it never occurred to me to just buy a mini keyboard for my laptop. Which, luckily, I had the sense to do so now. I just popped over to the nearest tech shop and bought me a nice slim keyboard which I now placed on top of my laptop, and voila, I’m typing again! (And it only cost me S$16.90!)

Woohee!
