Michael Schumacher has just announced his retirement after winning the Italian Grand Prix today.
So, oh no. Kimi Raikkonen has signed with Ferrari and will be driving for them starting next season. Still not a Ferrari fan, but still a Kimi fan. I can only hope that this move will bring him more wins, and hopefully a championship, just as Ferrari gave Michael all those championships.
*sigh*

Aww. what a disappointing day for Mclaren. Hope they fare better in the next race. I’d post a summary of the race here, but I wouldn’t want to bore non-fans with the details. :Þ

Australian GP
After a spectacular accident between Ralf Schumacher and Reubens Barichello, which led to several cars being unable to continue the race, the Australian GP ended with Michael Schumacher winning the first 10 championship points, followed by Juan Pablo Montoya in second place. And serving to prove his worth as Mika Hakkinen’s replacement in McLaren, Kimi Raikkonen won third place! And it definitely couldn’t have happened to a cuter better driver.
